This journey began with a simple goal: I just wanted to buy a new record player and a handful of my favourite albums.
But after visiting a couple of major Australian retailers, I quickly realised how quickly the cost could blow out. Spending thousands of dollars for a decent setup didn’t sit right with me.
So I went looking for a better option.
I set out to find record player turntables that delivered great sound, solid build quality, and real value — without the premium price tag.
It all started with the Black R61 model. It proved so popular that I quickly added three more finishes — White, Oak and Walnut — to give customers more choice. From there, the range steadily grew as I continued searching for products that hit that same balance of quality and affordability.
These days, I import around 20 different models. The range covers everything from fun, low-cost suitcase-style players like the Purple T30 and Pink JT3, right through to premium powered hi-fidelity options from trusted brands like Audio-Technica and Aiwa.
Every model I sell has been hand selected. Before anything makes it onto the site, I order samples, test them myself, and make sure they’re something I’d be happy to use in my own home. If it doesn’t meet that standard, it doesn’t make the cut.
I also sell through Amazon and eBay, where I’ve built up a strong track record with consistent 5-star reviews for customer service. Looking after customers properly is a big part of what this business is about.

Last year, I set up a small showroom space in my home in Richmond. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure environment where you can bring along a favourite vinyl record and hear how it sounds across different turntables, speakers, and amplifiers. Being able to compare setups side-by-side makes choosing the right one a whole lot easier.
To make things even simpler, I offer a 30-day change-of-mind return policy (just hang on to the original packaging), along with a standard 12-month warranty for peace of mind.
